Claire Mikhail Tolsa, a young Filipino woman with a passion for business, started a small insurance firm in Paco Manila, Philippines, in 2012. With one basic business idea, her "company" quickly expanded to life insurance. People in Asia would find insurance appealing because of their need to care for their families and be wise. That was the first time Guardian set foot in the Philippines, with the goal of providing Filipinos with the humanitarian benefits of insurance. And now, Guardian is expanding its presence across Asia.
